The Importance of Regular Eye Exams?
Did you know that many eye conditions have very little or even no symptoms? Or that half of all blindness or severe vision loss cases can be prevented through early detection?
By undergoing a thorough eye exam every year by our physician’s you can stay on top of your eye health and stop any problems in their tracks before they become worse.

Eye Exams
During a dilated, comprehensive exam, we will begin by gathering health and family history to determine if you are at a higher risk for any eye conditions, and:
- Screen any issues that could lead to blindness or vision problems.
- Test your vision skills.
- Determine your need for eyeglasses or contact lenses, or update your prescription.
- Check your eyelid health and function, the anterior segment in the eye (the area in front of the lens, including the cornea and iris), and the interior and back of the eye.
- Test the coordination of your eye muscles, pupil responses to light, side (peripheral) vision, intraocular pressure (pressure inside the eye).
