Biography

Background

Dr. Raber uses his twenty years of experience to provide outstanding service to his patients at Simon Eye. Following optometry school, Dr. Raber is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and is Board Certified as a Diplomate with the American Board of Optometry. As a two term President of the Delaware Optometric Association, Dr. Raber continues to advocate and advance the profession for the benefit of all patients with service to the DEOA and the American Optometric Association. He enjoys providing comprehensive eye care and treatment of medical eye disease to patients of all ages.

What I am most excited to bring to Simon Eye

I enjoy interacting with the diverse array of patients. It is satisfying to work with them to solve problems with their eyes or vision. From routine examinations with new glasses or contact lenses, to preventing future vision loss through disease detection and management, optometry remains a passion.

York, Pennsylvania, and currently reside in Magnolia, Delaware.

You’re most likely to find me

With my wife and children, surf-fishing with my Jeep at the beach, traveling, biking, and kayaking in the summer and searching for great ski conditions in the winter. My wife Beth and I are enjoying parenthood and spending many hours supporting our son and daughter as they pursue their passions and activities.
