Biography

Background

During college, I knew I wanted to be an optometrist when I worked as an optometric technician at a local optometrist’s practice. During my initial school experiences, I was involved in school screenings to check for vision-related risk factors in school-aged children and have treated patients in underserved communities in the school clinic. As part of my clinic rotations (including Simon Eye), I expanded my experience with contact lenses, ocular emergencies, and ocular diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. During my rotation at Simon Eye, I had a great bond with my patients which inspired me to join the Simon Eye team.

What I am most excited to bring to Simon Eye

I am excited to build long term relationship with my patients and to provide the highest quality eye care for the community. I am eager to educate and help my patients achieve their best vision.

I am from

I was born and raised in Hockessin, DE. My husband and I lived in the Philadelphia suburbs for years during our schooling but are excited to plant roots back in Hockessin.
